Organisation of South Africa said in a statement that it was humbled by the honour
bestowed on the organisation’s founding president, Professor Philda Nzimande.
She was honoured by the City of
eThekwini as one of the living legends.

Hlungwani said Nzimande is one of the nurse leaders who worked tirelessly and
crisscrossed the country during the dark days of apartheid.
Hlungwani said, “We are very
proud that city of eThekwini could make this nurse had made a contribution in
the category of human rights, where she was assisting in our country in forming
the unity among the profession of us(sic)
as well as in contributing in the struggle.”
