The 19 year old suspect arrested for a robbery-incident in Observatory yesterday, appeared in the Cape Magistrates Court today .
The suspect was arrested yesterday after police responded to a robbery complaint in Roburns Road. The victim was stabbed in her hand and robbed of her handbag.
“ The two suspects threatened the woman at knife point for her belongings and during a struggle, the complainant was sustained a stabwound in her hand,” said Sergeant Hilton Malila, Woodstock Police spokesperson.
The other suspect managed to evade capture, and is still at large.Anyone with information regarding the other suspect can call the investigating officer, Sergeant Warren Smit at the Woodstock Police on 021-486 2876
