About 200 Residents of Hangberg in Hout Bay continued their protest yesterday, after they heard that the Sentinel Mountain would now be sold in private.
They marched to a local park where they were addressed by community leaders, head of various organisations and fellow residents.
The residents also gave the national government seven days to respond to a memorandum of demands.
The memorandum includes their objections to the sale of the mountain, or any part of it.
Two week ago the community protested against the auction of the mountain and the auction was postponed.
