Table Mountain has made it into the final round of the New Seven Wonders of Nature internet contest.
Among the 28 finalist announced today by the New7Wonders Foundation in Zurich, Switzerland, are such as Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and the USA’s Grand Canyon.
The only other African site on the list is Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Table Mountain must now compete for a place among the top seven wonders of the World to be announced in 2011.
