Most South African are likely to face a week without buses and trains if the municipal workers go on strike on Monday.
At least 150 thousand municipal workers are expected to down tools on Monday to voice their demands for a better pay.
It has been reported that will not affect essential services such as waste management and emergency services in other part of the country.
However, Cape Town has warned that refuse collection in the informal settlements street sweeping and waster removal may be affected by the strike.
Commuters have been urged to make alternative
