Buyelwa Sonjica visit Sweden

Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs Buyelwa Sonjica went to Sweden through and invitation by her Swedish counterpart.

Her visit was to attend an informal meeting with the environmental ministers of the European Union.

She gave an address as the president of the African Ministers Council on Environment.

She delivered her speech where she articulated the position of the African ministers had taken as collective.


The position was articulated during the deliberation between the ministers on issues such as climate change and matters of the environment on the economy.

This stance was made on the developing and developed countries as well as from a perspective.
