The Nestle’ Milo Championship launched their annual Schools football tournament today.
Speaking at a press conference in Cape Town, former Bafana Bafana star, Mark Fish said the tournament is “ committed to youth development and upskilling talented young players”.
Schools around the country will play a series of matches which will result in provincial winners. The provincial winners will then advance to to the national finals where they will compete for the tital of National winner in September.
4 500 schools are participating in the nationwide tournament. The Western Cape Provincial Final takes place at the Rosemore Sports Grounds in George, on Saturday, 1 August.
