Following recent reports of burglary and vandalism at 17 Western Cape Schools during the holiday, Gugulethu police made four arrests yesterday for burglary at Lwazi Primary School.
After lengthy investigation, police followed up on leads that led to the arrest of a 35 year old man for theft, and another three people for the possession of stolen goods.
Four television sets, an amplifier, and two brand new speakers were recovered at a shebeen house at Tambo Square in Gugulethu.
The suspects will appear in the Athlone Magistrates' Court today.
