Four people were left injured this morning following a head-on collision between two trucks near the Baden Powell bridge over the N2.

“ Two of the injured sustained minor injuries, while the other two sustained moderate injuries. The patients were taken to Vergelegen Medi-Clinic by ER24 and Metro EMS ambulances for further treatment,” said Tristan Wadely, spokesperson for Discovery ER24.

After the trucks collided, the vehicles left the road and went down an embankment, causing one of them to overturn.

It is unclear what caused the trucks to collide head-on.
