Disaster Risk Management in Cape Town has warned people to be very careful today should they be going outdoors.
Centre spokesperson, Charlotte Powell says, “The heat wave in the city continues with temperatures peaking in the thirties.”
Powell has urged people to drink lots of water, take care of their animals, children and to wear appropriate clothing.
“Most importantly to stay indoors and stay in the shade,” she said.
