Free State University honors Richard Goldstone

The University of the Free State had an official opening yesterday.

Vice-chancellor Jonathan Jansen said the University`s fastest growth is being seen in its university preparation program on its South Campus in Bloemfontein.

Jansen further said the facility is set aside for children who cannot be taken up in the mainstream.

He mentioned that some of the students who were part of this programme are doctors, lawyers and teachers today.

Kovsies conferred an honorary doctorate on Justice Richard Goldstone during the opening ceremony.
