Reactions from some of the minister’s who attended SONA

Helen Zille the Premier of the Wester Cape said the President highlighted many positive features.Zille also mentioned that she supports the structure of Lead economic growth.


Mangosuthu Buthelezi leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party said that since President Jacob Zuma took over presidency he has announced very good plans however apart from plans the country sees very little action.


Key highlights of universities and other structured elements in the Mpumalanga region was generally welcomed however the African Peoples Convention Party felt that rural issues were not highlighted enough.


Ruth Bengu President of SANCO felt that the address was well balanced and that it touched on organisations that participated in the liberation struggle for the country.


Malusi Gigaba responded that this years State of the nation address was the best since 1994 and that it was the most detailed address the president gave.


The president not only highlighted the vision but followed it up with concrete plans of how he intends to link all the major provinces and cities in the country.
