The Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed the fact that government will be reviewing the way in which basic fuel prices are calculated.
Deputy Chairman of the chamber, Gordan Metter said the way fuel prices are calculated is old.
He added that the 38 cent increase is because of high international fuel prices.
Metter also said the 33 cent increase is because of bad management from government.
