Police have arrested three more suspects today for possession of abalone.
One of the suspects is a police officer of Mitchell’s Plain SAPS.
The suspects were arrested in Khayelitsha where police found diving suits, diving equipment and a vehicle.
The items were confiscated during the arrest.
The suspects aged 32, 38 and 39, will appear in the Athlone Magistrates Court tomorrow.
