The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa calls on the Minister of Sport and Recreation Comrade Fikile Mbalula to withdraw the 2012 Olympics kit deal signed by SASCOC and a Chinese company called ERKE.
Regional Secretary for Numsa  Mbuso Ngubane  says they refuse to see the South African Olympic Team dressed in a kit made in China.
Mbuso says if the kit  is made or manufactured in South Africa, it would provide enough employment  for a family that is in terrible need because of poverty and loss of employment in the manufacturing industry.
He continued to say that the very same players are expected to wear this kit, and will be doing so with shame in their faces.
