The South African Petroleum Retailers Association has called on government to regulate the price of fuel and it cannot only be determined by market forces.
Director Peter Noke says tax on petrol is expected but he welcomes a government investigation to determine whether the elements used to calculate fuel tax are still relevant for South Africa .
Noke further said that all the other countries in the world government is involved in determining fuel prices.
Noke added that the South African fuel prices are still average compared to the rest of the world.

My concern here in the states is that petroleum is being priced through speculation especially Brent Crude through the city of London. I don't trust the square mile. No one should.
