Tourism minister Marthinus van Schalkwyk unveiled a new national tourism strategy in Wupperthal in the Western Cape.
He hopes that this new strategy will help alleviate poverty in the rural communities across the country.
Chief director Leonore Beukes said in each province specific implementation areas have been identified.
