The Democratic Alliance Youth has strongly criticized President Zuma for his absence in the country on Youth Day.

DAY Spokesperson Mbali Ntuli says Zuma`s behaviour is a slap in the face of the youth.

Zuma was expected to address the youth in Port Elizabeth at Wolfson stadium but had to attend the G20 summit in Mexico.

Ntuli says the youth of South Africa is in crisis and on the day that the focus should be on addressing the challenges they face, the President chose to leave the country.
