Trade Union Solidarity has taken a strong stand against the cabinet’s decision to oppose the Korea Telecom transaction.

Solidarity has warned against the impact on service delivery and maintenance if the Telkom deal does not go through.

Solidarity spokesperson Marius Croucamp said they will lobby with government and they will speak to the minister, in terms of what they can do to rescue the transaction.

He added that if they cannot rescue Telkom in this regard, then they see massive job losses.
