Durban workers suffered breathing difficulties

A total of six workers suffered breathing difficulties on Monday evening when they were overcome by fumes while spray painting in the hull of a ship at the Durban harbour.
The events leading to the incident are unclear but police are investigating the incident.
ER24 Andre Visser said various emergency medical personnel and rescue workers including ER24 responded to the scene and then a three hour rescue operation ensued.
Patients were later safely removed before being transported to the local hospital, all the patients received appropriate medical treatment and were transported to the local hospital for further treatment.
All patients suffered injuries and difficulty in breathing and some light headedness and also some unconsciousness.
