Two bomb threats at two Cape High courts in the past 24 hours

Two courts in the Western Cape have received bomb threats in the past 24 hours. On Tuesday, the Wynberg Magistrate's Court received a bomb threat and another bomb threat was received today at the Western Cape High Court.

Police Spokesperson FC Van Wyk explains further that the K9 unite was activated and the bomb unite was also activated. The court building was evacuated.

At around half past ten the building was declared safe and no suspects were arrested.

Van Wyk appealed to the community not to make any hoax calls as this could put the lives of other people in danger he added that any offenders who are caught will be criminally charged.
