Netcare 911 today responded to an accident
on the N8 outside Bloemfontein
The exact detail of the cause of the
accident is being investigated by the police.
Netcare 911’s Santi Steinmann said that
upon the arrival on scene they found that a light delivery vehicle has collided
with another vehicle.
Steinmann added that one person tragically
died during the accident and five people sustained moderate injuries and the
Jaws of Life had to be used to extricate the seriously injured man.
All the injured people were treated on
scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care,
the exact details of the cause of the accident and the preceding events are
unclear and will remain the subject of police investigation.
