Lusanda Bill
17 October 2013

On Wednesday cabinet said it has noted concerning media reports related to the Control of Marketing of the Alcohol Beverages Bill.

It was reported earlier that there is a serious division over the decision to approve the Bill.

Governmental Spokesperson Phumla Williams said the cabinet on the 18th of September discussed and approved that the bill should be released for public comment.

Williams added that a media briefing was then held by Minister of Social Development Bathabile Dlamini who unpacked the bill in its totality.

“The bill will be released for public comment once the department is ready to do so” William added.
