The Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance today held a press briefing in Gauteng whereby they outlined their plans to continue to fight the Freeway Improvement Project.

This is after the Supreme Court of Appeal turndown Outa’s application to halt e-tolling.

Outa Chairperson Wayne Duvenage said there is a possibility that they might approach the Constitutional Court.

Duvenage said Outa would need about R1.5 million to take their case further and since outa has been transparent with their finances in the past it should not be difficult to find sponsorship.

He added that a board meeting will be held next week to discuss way forward.
