Two people were
seriously injured when their house caught fire in Rustenburg.
The incident
occurred at late last night in Rustenburg Road

paramedics responded to the incident and on arrival on scene they found that a
woman believed to be in her thirties and a young girl was in a critical
condition.

Spokesperson Santie Steinmann said they were both treated on scene before being
rushed to a nearby hospital for the urgent medical care that they required.
Exact detail to the
cause of the incident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the
subject of an investigation.
