Western Cape tourism sector estimated to create 100 000 jobs

Western Cape MEC of Economic Opportunities Alan Winde revealed the Western Cape’s growth strategy plan to create 100 000 on Tuesday.

Winde tabled the Project Khulisa plan that seeks to better the multi-billion rand tourism sector in the next five years.

Winde revealed his plans at a press briefing at the Zeitz MOCAA at the V&A Waterfront.

Ministerial spokesperson Bronwynne Jooste the next few months we are putting a range of initiative in place that will be focusing on cultural heritage tourism and we will also be launching direct flight.
