Print Active company is suing Congress of the People for R226 166 which it claims failed to pay them for printing ahead April 22 elections.
The company sent an invoice to the party three months ago, but Cope didn’t respond.
Then Print Active‘s lawyer sent Cope a letter advising the party that it could refer the matter to a debt councillor or the consume court.
This is the third trouble to hit Cope in the past two days.
The party deputy president Lynda Odendaal and their election head Simon Grindrod resigned yesterday.
