Hundreds of residents of the N2 Gateway housing project marched through central Cape Town yesterday to plead for Western Cape provincial government intervention in the project.
Chairperson of the residents committee Luthando Ndabamba told reporters that they were unhappy at the way state housing developer Thubelisha Homes is running the project.
Media reports that though there are 704 units, Thubelisha had no office on the premises and when residents complain about structural defects and plumbing problems, they are referred to Johannesburg.
