Two loaded minibus taxi that collided with a bakkie on the N1 highway near Bela Bela yesterday has left four people dead and 44 others injured.
Netcare 911's Jeffrey Wicks says, "Paramedics arrived on the scene and found both vehicles mangled near the highway."
Thirteen of the injured people suffered critical injuries and the other injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
