The Democratic Alliance Shadow of Minister of Trade and Industry Tim Harris has laid criminal charges against Tony Yengeni at the Cape Town Central police station.
The DA’s Tim Harris says this follows reports that former African National Congress chief whip is a director of several companies.
This is despite having been convicted of fraud and having been sentenced to serve time in prison without the sentence being suspended.
Tim Harris has stated that Tony Yengeni is in breach of Section 218 of the Companies Act.
