The video of the 15-year-old girl, who was allegedly raped by three classmates in Jules High School, is being sold on the internet for R10.

The rape was recorded on cellphones and was distributed at around the pupils.

The group Media Monitoring Africa said the footage constituted child pornography, which means possession of the video would be a criminal offence.

Two of the boys suspected of raping the 15-year-old girl were arrested but police later released the boys due to lack of evidence.

Police are still investigating the matter.
