Gauteng police have taken a suspected serial rapist into custody after tracking him down to KwaMashu.
The suspect faces charges of having raped at least 12 women in the Johannesburg area over the past three months.
He would allegedly lure his victims to up-market restaurants and pubs and then to seedy hotels in the Johannesburg CBD.
Police believe there might be more rapes but only the 12 was reported.
Police say they are confident that the man they have arrested is the man they have been looking for.
