The chairperson of the ad hoc committee dealing with the Protection of Information Bill has denied allegations that they are rushing the process through Parliament.

Burgess yesterday said he did not expect the draft of the Bill to be finalised before the end of the year.
The committee has been given until next Tuesday to redraft the controversial piece of legislation.
