The City of Cape Town’s Disaster Risk Management has urged people to be extra cautious when working with fire.
Nearly 100 people have been left displaced after ten fires broke out across Cape Town.
Disaster Risk Management Wilfred Solomons-Johannes said that nearly 100 people have been left displaced around the Peninsula in fire related incidents.
He also added that Disaster Risk Management wants to appeal to the members of the public, particularly the backyard dwellers and informal settlements to exercise caution.
