Two hijackers were arrested today in Elsies River following a foiled robbery.
The suspects were allegedly of the three men who hi-jacked a truck in Halt Road before fleeing the scene.
The police’s Andre Traut said they were alerted to the scene quickly.
He added that police responded and the truck collided with vehicles in the area.
The robbers then jumped out and tried to flee the scene, but they were arrested.
Traut said the two men were aged 30 and 40, and are being charged for armed robbery.
The third suspect managed to escape.
