Western Cape police are busy investigating the deaths of a couple in Uniondale.
This come after the bodies of Karin and Martinus Cornelius were found in the home they previously shared.
The 36-year-old woman reportedly returned back to the home to fetch her clothes.
Her relatives contacted police after she did not return home.
The police’s Bernadine Steyn said the bodies were found yesterday.
She added that on arrival to the house they found the 36-year-old woman’s body.
Steyn said that she had open wounds near her left eye and bruises around her neck.
A knife and belt were also found at the bed.
The body of her husband was found with an electrical cord around his neck.
The police believe the couple had an argument before the incident took place.
