MEC Pemmy Majodina to handout school uniforms

The Eastern Cape school children will be treated to a surprise this morning when MEC Pemmy Majodina.

Majodina is expected to visit learners in the Uitenhage area of the Eastern Cape and give them new school uniforms.

The Eastern Cape Department of Social Development in collaboration with the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality gave out new bags and uniforms to deserving underprivileged Eastern Cape children on Monday and aim to do the same again today.

Municipality Spokesperson Kupido Baron said that the MEC will visit five different schools in the area today.
