UDM calls for the board of inquiry to investigate dropped charges against Mdluli

The United Democratic Movement has issued a statement calling for a board of inquiry to investigate the dropped charges against Richard Mdluli.

UDM President Bantu Holomisa said that they are very concerned about the secrecy surrounding the dropping of the charges of corruption.

 Holomisa further said that as the party they understanding the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

 Holomisa added that they call upon President Zuma to consider extending the powers of the board of inquiry into the fitness of the suspended Police Commissioner, Bheki Cele to investigate why the charges against Mdluli were dropped.
