The MEC for education in the Western Cape, Donald Grant together with the education department are serious about improving the current language policy.
The WCED and Grant say they will keep focusing on what’s best for the learners.
The DA’s spokesperson for education in the Western Cape, Cathy Labuschagne said she welcomes the importance which is given to training for implementation of the policy.
The WCED has confirmed their continued commitment to teacher development and training.
