President Jacob Zuma is today leading a delegation to the Southern African Development Community’s extra-ordinary summit of heads of state and government, which is scheduled for tomorrow in the Zimbabwean capital, Harare.

Tomorrow’s meeting will consider amongst other issues the draft and the revised Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan.

Presidential Spokesperson Mac Maharaj said the extra-ordinary summit sequels the decision of the 34 ordinary summit of heads of state and government held in Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe in August 2014, which mandated the ministers of trade in the region to work on a draft strategy and road map on industrialisation.

Maharaj said President Zuma will be accompanied by Minster of International Relations and Cooperation, Minster of Trade and Industry and Minster of Finance.
