Traffic on Victoria Road in Salt River was briefly halted after a Toyota Tazz collided with a carrier truck this morning.
The driver of the truck told Bush Radio news reporter, Khanyisa Tabata, that the accident was caused by a taxi passing by. N Hodi said the Toyota was leaving the parking bay and was forced to swerve into his lane to avoid the speeding taxi.
The trucks bumper was damaged and the back window of the Toyota was shattered. No one was injured.
The driver of the Toyota refused to comment on the accident without police present.
