Seven people including a child died in N1 accident near Beaufort West this morning.
12 including a driver are in a critical condition in Beaufort West hospital.
The SA Roadlink bus was travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town when it overturned on N1.
The bus was carried 59 passengers when the accident occurred.
Inspector Odwa Makupula said, “At this stage we are unable to tell the circumstances that led to the accident”.
The cause of an accident is still under investigation.
Police are urging anyone who witness the incident to contact Inspector De Clerk of Beaufort West police station on 082 302 8326 or 023 414 8540.
