Divers are facing challenges of bad weather to rescue the driver and to remove a car in Steenbras river mouth.
It is believed that the driver swerved off the road and ended up in the sea near Gordon’s Bay.
It is unknown yet whether there were other people in the car.
Police divers left this morning with no luck and they will return once the weather is cleared.
