Khayelitsha mourners are demanding justice for the death of a three year old girl who was murdered last month.
Viwe Mnembe was abducted from her crèche and her body was found in a nearby township two days later.
Her mother’s ex-boyfriend Mbulelo Mbedane was arrested after he called Viwe’s mother and told her where she could find the body.
Now Khayelitsha residents are urging the authorities to get tough on child abusers.
They also described the killing as a shame and believed that Viwe’s murder has united the community.
