Government’s failure to finalise their version of the public service Occupation Specific Dispensation has angered teachers nationwide. Salary negotiations were halted yesterday, increasing the possibility of another teachers strike.
According to reports, the South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU), is considering taking to the streets in protest, while other prominent teachers unions have talked of declaring a formal negotiation deadlock.
