Incorrect report on Police absenteeism

Western Cape Police Commissioner Arno Lamoer said that the report on police absenteeism levels at the Maitland police station are incorrect.

The Commissioner issued a statement today .

Lamoer said the staff at the police station took an average of 7.9 days of sick leave last year .

Lamoer said the figures were wrong on the report.

The Commissioner further said the 77.2 days of sick leave it includes the dog unit as well as the radio unit.
