The Democratic Alliance on Wednesday requested a meeting to review the Census 2011 results.

Questions have been raised about the credibility of the survey and particularly the 14 point 6 percent undercount.

Several experts have also spoken out about their concerns regarding the quality of the census data.

DA’s Cameron Arendse said that despite assurances that the undercount would come in below 10% this year, and the allocation of additional funding to improve the situation from Census 2001, StatsSA still failed to count 14,6% of the South African population.
