Bothasig police has warned residents in the area and the public to be cautious when travelling on the N7 freeway.
This is after a recent armed robbery, murder as well as shooting that took place on the road between Richwood and Du Noon.
Police spokesperson constable Noloyiso Rwexana says the public should be very careful when travelling on the road and look out for any crime.
“We are just warning people not to stop on the road, because a lot of people stop and drop off their stuff” she said.
She further said that in the afternoon are the times the public should really be careful when using the road as their pick up point.
