Workers die of gas inhalation at purification plant

A number of people have reportedly died at a waste water purification plant in Kimberley in the Northern Cape after inhaling gas.

 It is understood employees were conducting maintenance work at the plant when they inhaled a noxious gas.  ER24's Andre Visser said, it seems that the workers were overcome by gas. 

Although it was uncertain five workers just went missing after they entered a sewerage pipe, close to the water treatment plant.

Visser further said that at a later it was discovered that five men were floating in the reservoir and the body recover are still underway of these five.
