The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has called for a swift arrest following money that was stolen from a hotel at the V&A in the Waterfront.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said this creates a bad name for the City of Cape Town especially concerning tourism as it casts a shadow for the industry.

Christians said the ACDP in the Western Cape is very shocked that a large amount of money R22 000 was stolen at a room at a very exclusive hotel in Cape Town.

Christians said we cannot understand that, that is bad publicity for the City of Cape Town and we are asking management or whoever police must come to the bottom of this.

“I don’t believe this is the first time it happened but if it is the action must be deterrent for future perpetrators of stealing foreigners property Christians added
